Nestle's Homophobic Sexist Candy Bar

The Yorkie campaign was prominently featured as a plot-point in episode three of the second series of Lewis ("Life Born of Fire"). In the episode, DS James Hathaway protests at a reductive view of sexuality wherein men are defined as men by an affinity for 'Yorkie bars and Loaded'. This diatribe forms his response to the direct question "Are you gay?" from his superior, DI Robbie Lewis, which he ultimately fails to answer. At the end of the episode, Hathaway is seen producing a Yorkie bar and handing it to his superior - although given the attitudes of both men throughout, this rather creates than clears up ambiguity.
I smell a boycott...
